OUR STRANGERS is a musical theater inspired by Kafka’s Trial and tells of foreigners trying to arrive in Europe – Sarah, Aziz and Hala.
As faces of the otherwise nameless spirits of our society, they show how differently people in Europe understand and are recognized, depending on their origin, religion and skin color.
What are we willing to do to be accepted in a foreign country?
When do we belong?
When are you integrated enough? Or too much?
Am I German enough? Is Europe home?
Can I keep my identity or do I have to hand it over abroad?
